Bangladesh Defence Adviser pays farewell courtesy call on Navy Commander
Commodore Syed Maksumul Hakim, Defence Advisor of High Commission for the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Sri Lanka paid a farewell courtesy call on Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne at the Navy Headquarters on 14th August 2020.
Accordingly, Commodore Syed Maksumul Hakim who is set to relinquish his duties as the Bangladesh Defence Adviser in Colombo paid his farewell call on Commander of the Navy and held a cordial discussion.
Commander of the Navy also took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the outgoing Bangladesh Defence Adviser for the cooperation rendered to the Sri Lanka Navy during his tenure and wish him all the success in his future endeavours. Mementoes were also exchanged to mark this special occasion.
