Arrangements made to provide monthly medications from nearest government hospitals for those who receive treatment from Navy General Hospital
The Navy General Hospital –Colombo has been converted into a treatment center for persons infected with the new coronavirus, soon after the outbreak of COVID – 19. In this backdrop, retired naval personnel, family members of naval personnel and civil staff employees receiving treatment from monthly clinics of the hospital faced quite a few hardships. Taking these matters into consideration, the Navy arranged a new programme, enabling the clinic attendees to receive their medication from the nearest government hospital.

With the termination of their courses, ten (10) SL Navy personnel who were following training courses in India, arrived to the Southern seas of Sri Lanka onboard an Indian war ship.
