The North Western Naval Command conducted a blood donation campaign at SLNS Barana on 12th December 2014 in view of the 64th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Navy.

With an impressive performance, Sri Lanka Navy were able to clinch the overall national wushu championship.

In view of the Sri Lanka Navy’s 64th anniversary, religious ceremonies were held at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy on 08th and 09th December 2014 with the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Jayantha Perera, Mrs. Shalika Perera, the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy Rear Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne, senior naval officers, sailors and their family members in attendance.
