NSVU bids adieu to former President
A function to bid farewell to the former President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Arundathi Udithamala Jayaneththi was held under the patronage of its incumbent President Mrs. Chandima Ulugetenne at the Malima Club House, Uswetakeiyawa on 16th July 2020.

Mrs. Chandima Ulugetenne takes office as new President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit
Upon being appointed as the 24th Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne assumed duties in the new position on 15th July 2020. In a similar vein, Mrs. Chandima Ulugetenne also took office as the new President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) on the same day.

NSVU waves farewell for two Executive Committee members
A function to bid farewell to Mrs. Ramyani Wickramasinghe and Mrs. Ruklanthi Kalubowila who were Executive Committee members of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) was held on a grand level at the Lighthouse Galley under the patronage of the honourable President of the NSVU Mrs. Arundathie Udithamala Jayanetti and vice president of NSVU,on 12th July 2020. The grand occasion was made more colourful by the entertainment of Navy Band and Cultural Troupe.

“The Anchorage” constructed with NSVU funds declared open
“The Anchorage” which was constructed with the funds provided by Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, for the welfare of Naval War Heroes who were disabled during the active service in the Navy, was declared opened on 11th July 2020.
