Commander of U.S. Pacific Air Forces meets with Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy

The Commander of the U.S. Pacific Air Forces, General Kevin Schneider, met with the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda, on 23 Jun 26 at the Navy Headquarters in Colombo.

Upon his arrival, General Kevin Schneider was accorded a traditional Guard of Honour, in precision with time-honoured naval customs. Following the ceremonial reception, the two military top-brass engaged in productive discussions on matters of bilateral importance, focusing on regional stability and maritime security.

Marking the significance of the official visit and symbolising the enduring goodwill, mementos were also exchanged between the Navy Commander and the visiting Commander of U.S. Pacific Air Forces at the conclusion of the cordial interaction.
