Rear Admiral Indika De Silva assumes duties as Director General Personnel
Rear Admiral Indika De Silva officially assumed duties as the Director General Personnel at Navy Headquarters today, 29 October 2026.
He joined the Navy as an Officer Cadet of the 12th intake of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University and was commissioned on 22 October 1996.
Prior to his appointment as Director General Personnel, Rear Admiral Silva served as the Commander North Central Naval Area.
