Defence Adviser at British High Commission calls on Navy Commander

Colonel Keith Miles, Defence Adviser at the British High Commission in Sri Lanka called on Vice Admiral Damian Fernando, Commander of the Navy at Navy Headquarters today, 8 September 2026.

At the outset, Colonel Miles congratulated Vice Admiral Fernando on his appointment as the 27^th Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy. Subsequent discussions between them focused on bilateral matters, with an emphasis on maritime security cooperation between the two countries.
