Navy provides relief to 1,310 flood victims in Trincomalee, Polonnaruwa and Batticaloa

In response to inclement weather, the Sri Lanka Navy has mobilized relief teams to high-risk areas across the island. 29 Nov 25, the Eastern Naval Command conducted relief operations in the Mallapachchenai of Kinniya, Kantale, Muthur Safi Nagar, Kala Oya, Gomarankadawala, Ral Palama, Gallella and Bogamuwa of Aluthgama in the Trincomalee, Polonnaruwa and Batticaloa districts. The efforts resulted in the rescue of 69 people from immediate danger and the safe relocation of 1,241 individuals, bringing the total number of people aided to 1,310....
