Ambassador of Türkiye to Sri Lanka meets with Commander of the Navy

The Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Sri Lanka, H.E. Semih Lütfü Turgut met with the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Damian Fernando at the Navy Headquarters today, 06 August 2026.

During the formal meeting, the Turkish Ambassador conveyed best wishes to the Commander of the Navy on his appointment. The ensuing discussion focused on several matters of bilateral importance.

To signify the importance of this occasion mementoes were also exchanged between the two parties.
