Indian National Defence College delegation visits Navy Headquarters

A 16-member delegation of senior officers from India’s National Defence College, led by Senior Directing Staff (Civil Services) Mrs. Anvita Sinha, visited Navy Headquarters today, 31 August 2026 as part of a study tour of Sri Lanka.

During the visit, the delegation called on the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy, Rear Admiral Ravindra Tissera. The discussions covered matters of importance relating to training and were followed by an exchange of mementoes between the two sides.

As part of their study tour, the delegation is also scheduled to visit the Eastern and Southern Naval Commands, as well as several of Sri Lanka’s notable tourist attractions.
