Assistant Secretary North and South Asia Branch meets with Commander of the Navy

Ms. Karen Radford, the Assistant Secretary North and South Asia Branch of the Australian Department of Defence met with Vice Admiral Damian Fernando, the Commander of the Navy at the Navy Headquarters today, 30 July 2026.

During the ensuing meeting, Ms. Radford and Vice Admiral Fernando discussed several matters of mutual importance. The occasion was alto attended by Colonel Amanda Johnston, the Australian Defence Attaché to the Australian High Commission in Sri Lanka.
