Commander of the Navy visits newly commissioned SLNS Samudravijaya

The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda, undertook an official visit to the newly commissioned Sri Lanka Naval Ship (SLNS) Samudravijaya on 05 Jun 26.

The Commander of the Navy inspected the ship’s operations, systems, technical prowess, and crew readiness. Applauding their professionalism and dedication during the commissioning ceremony of the vessel, the Navy Chief presented a letter of commendation on this occasion.

The Navy Commander was accompanied by a group of senior naval officers, including the Director General Operations and the Deputy Area Commander Western Naval Area.
