Colombo Security Conclave members discuss strengthening maritime cooperation to response Marine Pollution

Representatives of the Colombo Security Conclave (CSC) member states deliberated ways to strengthen cooperation on maritime security and regional security, during a virtual discussion held at the Information Fusion Centre (IFC) Colombo on 1 October 2026.

The discussion was held under the theme “Enhancing Regional Preparedness and Response to Marine Pollution Incidents”. Representatives from India, the Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles and Sri Lanka took part in the meeting, with some participants joining online.
