NAVY BEAT HAVELOCKS

Navy Sports Club beat Havelocks Sport Club 21-17 in a Dialog "A" Division rugby league encounter, which was worked off at the Welisara Navy Grounds on 11^th January 2014. First Lady Madam Shiranthi Wickremasinghe Rajapaksa, Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Jayanath Colombage, President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Srima Colombage, Chief of Staff of the Navy, Director General Health and Services, Director General Coast Guard, Director Naval Sports and senior naval officers were also present to witness the match.

Navy scored 2 tries, 1 conversions and 3 penalties while Havelocks scored 3 tries and 1 conversion in reply.
