NAVY SIGNS MOU WITH EASTERN UNIVERSITY FOR COLLABORATION IN HIGHER EDUCATION

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Sri Lanka Navy and the Eastern University for collaboration in higher education on 17^th January 2014. On behalf of the Commander of the Navy, Director General Training, Rear Admiral MUKV Bandara signed the MOU with Vice Chancellor of the Eastern University, Dr. Kiddnan Kobindarajah at the Eastern University.

The MOU enables the Navy to obtain resource personnel and lecturers for the Long Logistic Management Course (LLMC) which leads to the award of Master of Business Administration in logistic management.

The LLMC, conducted at the Naval and Maritime Academy in Trincomalee, is the highest course of study designed for officers of the Logistics Branch of the Sri Lanka Navy to develop their professionalism.
