The CISM Day Run 2014 organized by the Sri Lanka Navy under the guidance of Defence Services Sports Board, chaired currently by Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Jayanath Colombage, Chief of Staff of the Navy and Chairman, Defence Services Games, Rear Admiral Jayantha Perera and Secretary, Defence Services Sports Board and International Military Sports Council Sri Lanka Representative Commodore Dushyantha Amaranayake was held on 16th February 2014.

In a spectacular performance that created history, Navy Sports Club beat Kandy Sports Club 34 – 18 in the much anticipated Dialog "A" Division rugby league 2nd round match, which was worked off at the Welisara Navy Grounds on 15th February 2014.
