His Excellency the President visits Deyata Kirula Navy Exhibition Site

His Excellency the President Mahinda Rajapaksa visited the Sri Lanka Navy’s Deyata Kirula Exhibition site at Kuliyapitiya on 28^th February 2014. He was warmly received by Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Jayanath Colombage and Commander North Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Dayananda Nanayakkara. The President admired the Navy stalls and commended the naval personnel for their efforts which had contributed to the excellent turn –out.

The Navy exhibition site is attracting large crowds due to its creativity novelty and educational value. Care has been taken to blend in with the natural elements on the location in harmony with this year’s theme of the mega national development exhibition.
