Navy beat Upcountry Lions

Navy Sports Club beat Upcountry Lions Sports Club 35-25 in the Dialog Clifford Cup semi final rugby match, which was worked off at the Race Course Ground in Colombo on 04^th March 2014. First Lady, Madam Shiranthi Wickramasinghe Rajapaksa, who arrived to witness the match, was warmly received by President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Srima Colombage. Minister of Sports, Hon. Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy, Rear Admiral Jayantha Perera and senior naval officers were also among the distinguished spectators.

Navy scored 03 goals, 01 try and 03 penalties while Upcountry Lions scored 02 goals, 01 try and 02 penalties in reply.
