An Eleven-member Bangladesh Armed Forces Delegation visits SLN Headquarters

An eleven-member delegation from the Bangladesh Armed Forces visited the Naval Headquarters on 05^th May 2014. The delegates were from the Bangladesh Pay and Services Committee to familiarize themselves with the structure and organization of SL Defence Services. Head of the delegation, Lieutenant General Anwar Hussain called on Chief of Staff of the Navy, Rear Admiral Jayantha Perera. They held cordial discussions and exchanged mementos to mark the occasion.

Lieutenant General Anwar Hussain is the Quarter Master General of the Bangladesh Army. He has wide experience of command both in peace and counter insurgency operations. General Hussain is a graduate of Defence Services Command and Staff College, Bangladesh as well as Staff College, Germany. He holds a Master Degree in Defence Studies and a Master Degree in Business Administration. He has also worked as a military observer in the United Nation Iraq-Iran Military Observer Group.
