Navy designs a paddle boat
The Navy has designed and built a paddle boat suited for leisure rides under its Inshore Patrol Craft Construction Project (IPCCP). The latest addition is another fillip to the IPCCP’s wide range of products which have won customer satisfaction due to their affordability and ingenuity in the use of latest technology and know-how.
The boat, which has an overall length of 6.56 meters, weighs 950 kilograms. The hull is made of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP). The craft is propelled by four paddles and the steering wheel is connected to twin rudders. The boat is designed for four persons and ideal for a family.
