Navy renovates Galle Fort Methodist Church

His Excellency the President Mahinda Rajapaksa opened the newly renovated Galle Fort Methodist Church on 04^th July 2014. The renovation was carried out by the civil engineering personnel of the Sri Lanka Navy utilizing the financial assistance from the SLN Social Responsibility Fund.

Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Jayantha Perera, Admiral (retd) Jayanath Colombage and the Commander Southern Naval Area were among the distinguished persons that attended the opening, which was held to coincide with the Bicentenary Commemoration of the Methodist Church of Sri Lanka.
