216th Regular Intake passes out at SLNS Vidura
 

Three hundred and fifty (350) recruits belonging to the 216^th Regular Intake of the Sri Lanka Navy passed out at SLNS Vidura on 26^th July 2014. Commander Eastern Naval Area Rear Admiral Rohan Amarasinghe graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, Commandant of SLNS Vidura Commodore Noel Kalubowila and the senior naval officers, parents and well-wishers were also present on the occasion.

Recruit RHSM Ratagedara was adjudged the best recruit while Recruit TRS Peiris was selected the Recruit with the highest aggregate in all subjects. Recruit WP Hapugoda won the award for the Best Sportsman. Recruit KWIM Kumara won the award for the Best Marksman.
