Navy renders assistance to construct a maternity home at Beliaththa

A newly constructed maternity home at Pattiyawela in Beliaththa was declared open by Member of Parliament, Hon. Namal Rajapaksa on 07th August 2014.

The construction was carried out by the Sri Lanka Navy to strengthen the primary health services in the Hambanthota district. It was the second maternity home constructed by the Navy in the Southern Naval Area.

Commander Southern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Eric Jayakody was also present on the occasion.
