Bangladesh National Defence College Team visits SLN Headquarters

A thirty-two member team from the National Defence College of Bangladesh visited the Sri Lanka Navy Headquarters in Colombo on 09^th September 2014. The team was headed by Rear Admiral Muhammad Anwarul Islam.

The head of the team called on Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Jayantha Perera and held cordial discussions on matters of mutual interests. Mementos were also exchanged as a gesture of goodwill to mark the occasion. The Commander of the Navy addressed the visiting NDC members and explained the role and structure of the Sri Lanka Navy with a special emphasis on asymmetric warfare strategies which enabled SLN to defeat a most ruthless form of terrorism.
