Navy extends assistance to Dengue Control Programme in Western Province
 
 

Sri Lanka Navy has extended its fullest assistance to the Dengue Control Programme conducted in the Western Province under the guidance of the National Dengue Control Unit. The Navy has deployed 273 naval personnel for the programme conducted on 31^st October and 01^st November 2014.

The personnel of the Sri Lanka Army, the Sri Lanka Air Force and the Civil Security Department are also taking part in the 02-day dengue control programme implemented covering the Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara MOH areas.
