Indian Army Higher Command Course Delegation visits Naval Headquarters
 

A delegation from the Indian Army Higher Command Course headed by Brigadier JS Sandhu of the Indian Army visited the Naval Headquarters in Colombo on 10th November 2014. They were accompanied by Indian Defence Adviser in Sri Lanka Captain Prakash Gopalan.

The head of the delegation paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy Vice Admiral Jayantha Perera. They held cordial discussions on matters of bilateral importance and mutual interests.

The deligation took part in a presentation on role and structure of the Sri Lanka Navy with special emphasis on asymmetric warfare made by the Director Naval Operations of the Sri Lanka Navy Commodore Merril Wickramasinghe at the Commander of the Navy’s conference room. Director General Operations Rear Admiral Neil Rosayro and Senior Naval Officers were also present on the occasion.

The delegation is on a study tour in Sri Lanka from 09th to 15th November 2014.
