Commander of the Navy pays a courtesy call on the newly elected Prime Minister

The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Jayantha Perera paid a courtesy call on the newly elected Prime Minister Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe at the Opposition Leader’s Residence in Colombo on 11^th January 2015. The Navy Commander conveyed his best wishes to the new Prime Minister and pledged the Navy’s fullest assistance for the defence of the country.

The Commander of the Army and the Commander of the Air Force were also present on the occasion.
