Nepal ACSC officers on study tour visit Naval Headquarters

A group of officers from the Army Command and Staff College (ACSC) in Nepal visited the Naval Headquarters in Colombo on 16^th January 2015. On behalf of the Commander of the Navy, the Director General Operations of the Sri Lanka Navy, Rear Admiral Neil Rosayro welcomed the ACSC officers and held cordial discussions with the Head of the delegation, Major General Binoj Basnyat on matters of mutual interest

The ACSC officers are from China, the United Kingdom, Nepal, Pakistan and the United States of America. They are on a 07-day study tour in Sri Lanka as part of their Command and Staff course.

The Director Naval Operations of the Sri Lanka Navy, Commodore Meril Wickramasinghe made a presentation for the visiting officers on the role and structure of the Sri Lanka Navy with special emphasis on asymmetric warfare.
