Royal Oman Navy Delegation pays a courtesy call on Commander of the Navy

A 04-member delegation headed by the Director Engineering of the Royal Oman Navy Captain Aqeed Rukn Bahry Mubarak Bin Said Bin Mubarak Al Atiqi paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Jayantha Perera at the Naval Headquarters in Colombo on 29^th January 2015. They held cordial discussions on training facilities available for RNO technicians at the Sri Lanka Navy. The Director General Training Rear Admiral Udaya Bandara also took part in the discussions.

The officials belong to the Technician Training Evaluation Team of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO). They are in Sri Lanka to carry out an onsite familiarization and inspection visit of the training resources and facilities available at the Sri Lanka Navy and the Kotelawala Defence University for a proposed advanced diploma in ship maintenance systems in marine, electrical and electronics & telecommunication engineering.
