Sri Lanka Navy will accord a 25-gun salute to the nation on the Independence Day (04th February 2015) at the Lighthouse premises in the Fort of Colombo at 12.00 p.m. to mark the 67th Independence Day.
The traditional 25-Gun Salute, the highest of its kind, is accorded by the Sri Lanka Navy to the nation on the Independence Day. The Navy fires 25 rounds of gun fire exactly at 1200 hours on the Independence Day (4th February) as a salute to the nation.
