Commander of the Navy declares open new administration complex at SLNS Uttara

The Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy Vice Admiral Jayantha Perera declared open the administration complex at SLNS Uttara on 03^rd March 2015. The Commander Northern Naval Area Rear Admiral Sarath Dissanayake, senior naval officers from the Naval Headquarters, the Commanding Officer and the ship complement of SLNS Uttara also were present on the occasion.

The new administration complex fulfills a long-felt need and provides more space to accommodate all the staff without any congestion. The two-storey building is equipped with modern office facilities and has a pleasing interior with ample ventilation suited to tropical climatic conditions.
