Navy extends assistance to National Dengue Control Programme
 

The Navy in collaboration with the Ministry of Health has extended its assistance to the National Dengue Control Programme conducted under the guidance of the National Dengue Control Unit. One hundred and seventy-one naval personnel will be engaged in dengue control from 04^th to 06^th June 2015 covering Jaffna, Trincomalee, Colombo, Kalutara, Puttalam and Kandy districts.

Personnel of the Sri Lanka Army, Sri Lanka Air Force, Police and the Civil Security Department are also taking part in the 03-day dengue control programme implemented in the Jaffna, Batticaloa, Trincomalee, Colombo, Kalutara, Gampaha, Kurunegala, Ratnapura, Puttalam and Kandy districts.
