Newly appointed Commander of the Air Force pays courtesy call on Commander of the Navy

The newly appointed Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Jayantha Perera on 29^th June 2015 and was accorded a Guard of Honour on arrival at the Naval Headquarters. He was warmly received by the Commander of the Navy and introduced to the Director Generals of the Navy.

The Commander of the Navy conveyed his best wishes to Air Marshal Bulathsinghala on his assumption of command of the Air Force as its 15^th Commander. He pledged continued cooperation between the two sister forces and expressed his confidence that the entire Air Force will be benefited from the professional expertise of the new commander who has a wealth of military experience.

Mementos were also exchanged between them to mark the occasion.
