New power house at SLNS Thammanna declared open

The newly constructed power house at SLNS Thammanna in Thalai-mannar was declared open by the Commander North Central Naval Area Rear Admiral Dimuthu Gunawardene on 02^nd July 2015. The construction of the new powerhouse, which commenced on 27^th October 2014, was completed by the civil engineering personnel of the Navy within 08 months. The Deputy Area Commander, senior and junior naval officers and sailors of the North Central Naval Command were also present on the occasion.
