Indian Coast Guard delegation visits Naval Headquarters

A delegation of the Indian Coast Guard headed by the Commander Coast Guard Region (East) of the Indian Coast Guard, Inspector General Satya Prakash Sharma paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy at the Naval Headquarters in Colombo on 08th September 2015.

The Indian Coast Guard Commander Eastern Region and the Commander of the Navy held cordial discussions on coast guard operations of the two countries and how to achieve greater success of such operations in collaboration and coordination with the navies of the two countries.

The Director General of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard Rear Admiral Samantha Wimalathunga, the Director of the Ministry of Defence (India), Mr. Praveen Siddharth and the Defence Advisor of the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka, Captain Prakash Gopalan were also present on the occasion.  
 
Mementos were also exchanged to mark the occasion.
