Western Naval Command conducts a special blood donation campaign in view of SLN’s 65th anniversary

In view of the 65^th anniversary celebrations of the Sri Lanka Navy, a special blood donation campaign was held at the Western Naval Command Hospital in Welisara on 10^th December 2015.

Over 275 naval personnel attached to the Western Naval Command voluntarily donated blood at the campaign organized under the guidance of the Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Jayantha De Silva. The staff of the Teaching Hospital Ragama and the National Blood Bank, Narahenpita rendered their assistance to the meritorious act organized to replenish the blood stocks at the respective Blood Banks.
