Commander of the Navy pays homage to Sacred Tooth Relic and calls on Mahanayakes of Malwatte and Asgiriya Chapters

The Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne paid homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic at the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy on 28th January 2016 and called on the Mahanayakes of the Malwatte and the Asgiriya Chapters.

The Navy Commander visited the Sri Dalada Maligawa. He was received by the Diyawadana Nilame Mr. Prdeep Nilanga Dela. Thereafter, he called on the Mahanayake of the Malwatte Chapter the Most Venerable Thibbotuwawe Sri Siddhartha Sumangala Thera and the Mahanayake of the Asgiriya Chapter the Most Venerable Galagama Dhammasiddi Sri Dhammananda Attadassi Thera to receive their blessings.
