Northern Naval Command conducts a field health clinic in Karainagar
 

As part of the Navy’s Community Development Project, the Northern Naval Command conducted a field health clinic at the Karainagar Hindu College on 06th February 2016 under the guidance of the Commander Northern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Piyal De Silva.

The clinic was conducted by the medical officers and sailors attached to the Northern Naval Command. The Medical Officer of the Base Hospital Karainagar, the Medical Officer of Palaitivu and the State Pharmaceutical Corporation also rendered assistance for the successful conduct of the medical and dental clinics which provided treatment to a large number of civilians in the area. Two hundred spectacles were also donated to the needy patients at the clinic.
