Navy apprehends 51.5 kg of Kerala Cannabis in the Mannar seas
 

On receipt of information, naval troops attached to SLNS Therapuththa of North Western Naval Command apprehended 51.5 kg of Kerala Cannabis floating in the seas of Mannar on 24^th March 2015. The haul of cannabis which were recovered in the vicinity of the sea area of Kallaru naval detachment, suspected to be transferred by means of fishing vessels from India.

The apprehended haul of Kerala cannabis to be handed over to the Silawathurai Police for onward action. ‍
