The navy apprehends four persons with Opium
Naval troops attached to SLNS Therapuththa of North Western Naval Command apprehended 4 persons while transferring 15.4 kg of Opium in Silawathurai area on 1st April 2016.
The apprehended persons with the haul of Opium were handed over to the Silawathurai Police for onward legal action and further investigation.
