Commander of the Navy unveils the cloud wall of Nagadeepa Viharaya in Nainativu

A series of religious ceremonies in commemoration of the 13th death anniversary of the late prelate of Nagadeepa Viharaya in Nainativu, most Ven. Brahmanawaththe Dammakithti Thera, was held under the guidance of the chief incumbent of Nagadeepa Viharaya, most Ven. Navandagala Padumakiththi Thera. Parallel to the series of religious events, the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne unveiled the Cloud Wall of the temple embedded with Cobra Sign, constructed with the able labour contribution of the Sri Lanka navy yesterday (02).

During the visit the Commander of the Navy held cordial discussion with the naval personnel of Northern Naval Command. The Commander Northern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Piyal De Silva and a host of senior officers were also present at the occasion.
