A consignment of Kerala Ganja apprehended in Kalpitiya

Naval Intelligence personnel rendered their assistance to the troops of Police Special Task Force in Puttalam to arrest a consignment of 100 kgs Kerala Ganja while transferring by a cab in the general area of Mohoththuwaram in Kalpitiya yesterday (6). The raid was carried out by the naval personnel attached to SLNS Bharana, SLNS SLNS Thambapanni and SLNS Vijaya belonging the Northwestern Naval Command in coordination with the personnel of Police Special Task Force.

The 2 suspects who involved in this racket, the vehicle and the stock of Kerala Ganja were handed over to Puttalam Police for onward investigations.
