Inspector General of Police calls on Commander of the Navy
 

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Pujith Jayasundara called on Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne at the Naval Headquarters this morning (22). The visiting IGP was accorded with a Guard of Honour in accordance with naval traditions. This visit of IGP Jayasundara marked his first official meeting with Commander of the Navy, having assumed duties as the Inspector General of Police.

Vice Admiral Wijegunaratne extended his warm greetings to the IGP upon his arrival at the Naval Headquarters, and held cordial discussions on matters of mutual interest. The meeting came to an end with exchange of mementoes symbolizing the long-standing ties of both organisations. Director Generals and Senior Officers from the Naval Headquarters were also present on the occasion.
