Navy nabs three persons with 4.5 kg of Kerala Cannabis
 

Naval personnel attached to SLNS Thambapanni in Puttalam belonging to the Northwestern Naval Command, in coordination with Puttalam Police, managed to apprehend 3 persons whilst selling Kerala Cannabis at two separate locations yesterday (11).

Accordingly a person with 3.5kg of cannabis was arrested in Nawagaththegama area and the other two suspects were taken into custody with 1 kg of cannabis in their possession in the general area of Seemawali, Puttalam. The apprehended persons and the stock of cannabis were produced to the Anamaduwa and Puttalam Police respectively for onward action.
