French Naval Ship “Revi” arrives at the Port of Trincomalee
 

The French naval vessel “Revi” arrived at the Port of Trincomalee this morning (15) on a goodwill visit. The ship was ceremonially welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in accordance with naval traditions on her arrival.

Subsequently, Commanding Officer of the French naval ship “Revi”, Lieutenant Stephane Congues called on Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Travis Sinniah at the Eastern Naval Command Headquarters and held cordial discussions. Deputy Area Commander of Eastern Naval Area, Commodore Meril Sudarshana, and a host of officers from the command were present on the occasion. Mementos were also exchanged to signify this official meeting. The ship which is due to stay in Sri Lanka until 18th of this month, is scheduled to engage in a number of programmes organized by the Sri Lanka Navy.
