Navy nabs 2 persons with 2 kg of Kerala Cannabis
 

A group of naval personnel attached to SLNS Uththara in Kankesanthurai and SLNS Kanchadewa in Kytes arrested to 2 persons who were transferring 2 kg of Kerala Cannabis in the general area of Chavakachcheri yesterday (2). On receipt of credible information, the raid was carried out by the naval personnel in coordination with the officials of the Department of Excise.

The apprehended persons along with the haul of cannabis were produced to the Department of Excise in Jaffna for onward legal actions.
