Senior officers of the three Japanese Maritime Self Defence Force ships call on Commander of the Navy
 

The senior officers of the three Japanese Maritime Self Defence Force (JMSDF) Ships which arrived in Sri Lanka on a goodwill visit, called on Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne at the Naval Headquarters today (10).

Accordingly, Commander Japan Training Squadron, Rear Admiral Hidetoshi Iwasaki and three Commanding Officers of the ships; Captain Josuke Nakapura (CO Kashima), Commander Ken Sakai (CO Setoyuki) and Commander Hiroyuki Leraoki (CO Asagiri) met with Commander of the Navy and held cordial discussions. During the discussions they shared views on matters of bilateral interest and mutual importance. Japanese Defence Attaché to Sri Lanka, Lieutenant Atsuhiro Morore was also present on the occasion. Mementos were also exchanged to mark this event.
