Navy transfers two critically ill fishermen ashore
 

The Sri Lanka Navy managed to transfer two critically ill fishermen ashore this evening (10). The fishermen had gone on fishing onboard a multiday fishing trawler, "Sudu Ruwan" from the Galle fisheries harbour. Having dispatched the Fast Attack Craft P 450 to the location, the patients were safely transferred to the craft in the seas about 70 NMs off the Galle Lighthouse. Subsequently the patients were brought to Galle Harbour and they were rushed to Karapitiya Teaching Hospital for further medical treatment.
