Navy apprehends a person with 3 unauthorized fishing nets
 
 

Naval personnel attached to SLNS Gajaba located in Mannar in the North Central Naval Command arrested a person with 3 monofilament nets in the Kondampiddi beach area today (13). The arrest was made during a beach patrol carried out by the naval personnel. The apprehended person and fishing nets were handed over to the Assistant Directorate of Fisheries, Mannar for further investigations.
