Navy arrests a person with 6 kg of Kerala Cannabis
 

During a raid carried out by the naval personnel attached to SLNS Gemunu located in Welisara belonging to the Western Naval Command, in coordination with Peliyagoda Police arrested a suspect with 6 kg of Kerala Cannabis today (15). By the time the arrest was made, the suspect was transferring the haul of cannabis by a three-wheeler in Mattakkuliya area.

The apprehended person and items were handed over to Peliyagoda Police for onward legal action.
